Claudia Segre

President & Founder

Claudia Segre has devoted her career to the trading and managing of several world-wide renowned Italian banks, studying the global geopolitical dynamics, and was later assigned to positions of responsibility for different operative and management departments in Intesa Group, Unicredit Group and Credem Group.

Her works in trading and strategic analysis of international markets has contributed to directing her career towards the Debt Capital Market, Credit Analysis and Geopolitical Dynamics. Claudia Segre was also responsible for International Relations with the European Union, Central Banks and Multilateral Authorities for Unicredit Group in Rome, Italy, and afterwards, global responsibility for risk assessment for banks and countries.

She co-founded ASSIOM FOREX, the National Association of Market Operators, becoming first Vice President and active member since 1993; Secretary General from 2009 until 2016; and now Director of Publications and Member of the Board. Claudia is additionally, Chairman of the Board of Education of ACI FX International until 2015, and now Honorary Member of ACI International. She has taught in ASSIOM FOREX, Italian universities & institutions about advanced trading, Islamic finance, Basilea III, and Sovereign and Corporate Risk.

Claudia Segre took part of the Body of Experts for the Sixth Commission of Finance for the Italian Chamber of Deputies. She is the President of Global Thinking Foundation, founded in 2016 with her knowledge about the financial, political, and social sector, participating in exclusive events, such as Salone del Risparmio in Milan, the G7 session about Women’s Policies “Starting From Girls”, ITForum in Rimini, IMF Annual Meeting in Washington and the OECD/GFLEC symposium in Paris.

Her contributions as leader of Global Thinking Foundation, President of Global Thinking Foundation USA Inc, and creator of a majority of the Foundation’s projects, have been essential to ensuring the efficacy and sustainability of programs, as well as guaranteeing the presence of a deep professional and human value in the Foundation’s mission.

Dominick Salvatore

Board Member

Dominick Salvatore is a Distinguished Professor at Fordham University in New York City; Dean of the same from 1986 to 1992. He was nominated in 2010 for the National Medal of Science awarded by the President of the United States. Dominick Salvatore is also sitting President of the International Trade and Finance Association, Fellow of the New York Academy of Science, and Chairman of its Economics Section. He is a consultant to the United Nations, World Bank and International Monetary Fund.

He has published articles in several newspapers and journals; his Italian publications include writing for “Il Sole 24 Ore” from 1998 to 2006. He was invited to several television programs, from “Porta a Porta” and “Ballarò” to TG1.

He has held various professional and academic positions in universities in the United States, Africa, Latin American, and Asia, where he lectured more than 600 conferences and 500 seminars worldwide. He received several awards, such as the Achievement Award by the City University of New York.

Tommaso Iaquinta

Board Member

Having graduated with a law degree with honours from Università Statale in Milan, a Masters Degree in Corporate Finance and Banking in SDA from Bocconi University, and a PhD in Public and Economic Law, Tommaso Iaquinta is currently CEO and Founding Partner of Once Capital Management Fund, a New York City based hedge fund.

He is also founding partner of Livolsi – Iaquinta & Partners, an advisory boutique for extraordinary transactions (i.e. M&A, debt restructuring) on behalf of several companies (listed or unlisted) in Italy and worldwide.

Giuseppe Isola

Board Member

Giuseppe Isola is the Chief Executive Officer of Craft Worldwide, a company in the Interpublic Group (IPG) which is among the global leaders in communications for several brands. From 2007 to 2010 he was IT Manager for Interpublic Group in the Italian market.

He was founder and director of Futura Informatica, a consulting company for IT services and technologies from 1997 to 2012. With 25 years of experience in management for the IT industry, he has become a member of the Board of Directors for Global Thinking Foundation USA, providing a unique global vision on the perspectives and opportunities that new technologies can offer to advance financial literacy.
