Who we are

Founded by Claudia Segre in 2016, Global Thinking Foundation supports, sponsors, and organizes activities and projects to promote financial literacy, especially towards indebted, financially exposed, or economically segregated groups. We work to bring real financial education to people who really need it - this means the big picture stuff, like policy reform and national programs, and it also means the personal stuff, like how you can build a budget that works for you.

We support Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) set by the United Nations for the Agenda2030, Global Thinking Foundation focuses on Goal 4 (Quality Education), Goal 5 (Gender Equality), and Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth). The Foundation promotes financial inclusion & literacy by encouraging a culture of responsible investment & savings management, through projects of economic citizenship, and by following both targeted and holistic approaches to reaching groups in need of financial literacy and inclusion. The SDG’s we support are GLTF’s big, lofty, aspirational guidelines that keep our sight in line; it’s our guiding light in every project, in every country.

Global Thinking Foundation offers resources, courses, and education to help individuals, from families to investors, to develop one’s own financial knowledge and competency. The Foundation operates internationally, with considerable activities and projects in each active country, pursuing public interest, policy change, and social value. Wherever we open an office, whether the city of romance or the city of politics, we are working towards the big changes for institutions & governments, and the big changes for the individual. One is our bread, one is our butter, and together they are the staple of all that we fight for at Global Thinking Foundation.
